3 Steps to Launching a Restaurant Rewards Program on Wisely

What is the process for launching a restaurant loyalty program and customer experience system on Wisely?  

 

There are 3 steps to the setup process:

  1. Marketing: Making Sure Guests Sign Up
  2. Operations: Enabling Your Staff
  3. Admin: Signup form and Beacon installation

Let's explore each step in more detail.

 

Step One: Marketing

Any loyalty program is only as good as the number of customers who participate in it. Here's how you maximize the number of people in your program. Each topic below is blown out into its own step-by-step post. 

 

  • Wifi: When a guest connects to your wifi, they'll be prompted to sign up for your email and rewards program. 
  • Waitlist: When a guest adds themself to the waitlist, they'll receive a text with a link to sign up for your rewards program. 
  • Postcards: Place them at your host stand, in check presenters, and in your waiting area. 
  • Receipt Text: Place a 140 character call to action at the bottom of your receipt. 
  • Website Link: Add a link at the top of your website.
  • OpenTable Confirmations: Include a 140 character call to action in your reservation confirmations.
  • Email Blast: Send an email announcement to your customer base.
  • Facebook Calls to Action: Add a sign up button and CTA in your cover photo. 
  • Social Ads: Target ads to your existing customer base on Facebook and Twitter.
  • Staff Competitions: Provide an incentive for your staff to signup their regular guests.

 

Step Two: Operations

Your staff is busy. You need a loyalty program that's simple to launch and simple to operate. Here's what it takes to get Wisely up and running operationally:

 

  • Create Your Program: We build a custom program based on your business objectives and unique differentiators, taking into account what's worked for other Wisely partners.
  • Setup Manager Accounts: You can invite your managers directly from your Wisely manager app account. Alternatively, send us your managers' email addresses and we'll take care of it.
  • Inform Your Staff: Invite your staff to signup for the loyalty program, so they know how it works and what it entails. Seeing it for themselves is the best way to educate them.

 

Step Three: Admin

First, you'll need to complete a signup form that tells us about your business and sets up automatic monthly payment. Second, we'll ship you the beacons and / or wifi routers you need. Beacons allow us to track guest visits. Wifi allows us to track visits and drive signups.
